BB smiles often, and she loves to laugh. BB truly loves everyone she meets. BB prefers the company of others to spending time alone. BB likes positive attention. BB participates in church activities, and she likes spending time with her foster family eating meals together, going to concerts, and just being in their presence.
BB responds well with kind, redirection from caregivers. Talking with her when she is upset is helpful. BB wants to be heard and she needs reassurance that her needs will be met by her adoptive parents. BB continues to work on developing more patience.
BB is wonderfully expressive with her emotions, and she benefits from gentle guidance to help her navigate them. BB talks to others about her ideas, thoughts, and feelings.
BB has two biological sisters who are not placed with her and they will not be adopted with her. BB has visits and phone calls with her sisters that she enjoys and would like to continue. BB maintains contact with her grandparents through phone calls and these are positive for her. BB has some contact with her former foster families. BB would like to maintain contact with all of her connections who have helped make a difference in her life.
BB likes to stay busy and she wants an active family. BB is open about the qualities of her adoptive parent(s). BB prefers a home with animals and other children but this is not a requirement. BB needs caregivers who are patient and attentive to her. BB needs an adoptive family that will maintain consistent rules, so she is clear about her expectations. It will be integral for any potential adoptive family to identify BB's feelings behind any actions and help her work through any difficult times.
