He describes himself as funny, brave, smart and athletic, and he shared that he very much enjoys playing basketball, video games, and hanging out with friends, though he also likes to have his privacy. Maintaining a peak physical level is very important to True, and he does so by adhering to a consistent workout routine, including calisthenics, weightlifting, and running. He recently competed the 8th grade very successfully, and he hopes to play high school sports, including both football and basketball. He has shared that working out is important to him as well because he tries to take pride in his appearance. Regarding his education, True has shared that he loves to study History since he has a good memory, and he enjoys studying. His favorite foods are hamburgers, cheesesteaks, and chicken alfredo, and his least favorite foods are cabbage and olives.
True has always been placed with his younger brother, Gavin, and they have both shared they would prefer to be adopted by a loving family as a sibling pair. True has expressed that he would prefer a traditional family, including both a father and a mother, who would not be very strict and allow him to maintain his freedom. He does not have a preference as to the race/ethnicity of his adoptive family, or whether he’d have other siblings, or pets in that home. Gavin is a youth who is maturing and progressing in his life by learning from his mistakes. He describes himself as strong, brave, and athletic, and he shared that he very much enjoys playing football, swimming, and hanging out with friends. He also likes to relax by sitting on the phone, texting with friends. Gavin also tries to maintain a very good fitness level by working out - doing pushups and sit-ups - and his athletic ability is easily on display as he can throw a football a very good distance, as well as easily catch difficult passes from others. Friends mean a lot to Gavin, and he shared that if he had a choice of any superhero ability he could have for a week, it would be that he’d be able to teleport at any time to visit with his friends. He has shared that he likes being helpful to his teachers at school, including cleaning the blackboards.
Gavin has always been placed with his older brother, True, and they have both shared they would prefer to be adopted by a loving family as a sibling pair. Gavin expressed that he is open to any type of family in terms of parent structure, race, ethnicity, siblings, or pets in that home. He has shared he does like big dogs, but whether a family has pets is not important to him.
